The Off-Season

Ian Taggart is innocent.

The day my world came crashing down around me, I was sitting in a fast food drive-thru, waiting on an order of fries. As the golden boy of the MLB and shortstop for the Washington Rampage, I quickly found myself losing grip on my superstar life with the use of two awful words.
Fast forward six months, and my name has finally been cleared. But the damage is done. My sponsors have dropped me, my fans have deserted me, and my team isn’t sure how much more they can take. In a last-ditch effort to revamp my image, my agent convinces me to move out of the spotlight and into the mountains of Colorado.

The quiet town of Maple Lake is everything Seattle isn’t.

And Lexi Barnes is everything I wasn’t expecting to find.

It’s game on this off-season.
